Frances provides a combination of Pilates and Yoga as part of a balanced programme for increasing your body’s strength and flexibility. The synergy of combining Pilates with Yoga provides enhanced training benefits, and is a natural fit bringing you the best of both both worlds.


The styles of yoga she teaches are mainly Hatha Yoga & Vinyasa Yoga.

Hatha Yoga, a slow-paced, gentle form of yoga with the main focus on breath. This is especially good for beginners as it relieves stress, provides physical exercise, and improves breathing.

The other style she favours teaching is Vinyasa Yoga, which incorporates flowing movements and synchronizing breath with movement. Also great for beginners through to the more advanced. When practised regularly, Vinyasa can increase muscle strength, endurance, flexibility and reduce levels of stress.


Pilates brings a lot more focus on strengthening your core muscles, the muscles that protect your spine; abdominal, glut, chest and back muscles as well as toning the arms and legs. Strengthening these muscles, in turn, reduces the pressure on the spine, relieving back tension and pain, which can sometimes be caused by poor posture or prolonged seated positions. We will work on increasing your core strength to improve posture, thus preventing the risk of injury.

By using a variety of Yoga & Pilates techniques and equipment, including; Reformer, Cadillac, Magic Circle, Swiss Ball, Foam Roller various other equipment, it makes it a fun yet challenging workout.
